John Milton "Mickey" Rivers (born October 31, 1948) is an American former baseball player who played in Major League Baseball from 1970 to 1984 for the California Angels, New York Yankees, and Texas Rangers. He was generally known as a speedy  leadoff hitter who made contact and was an excellent center fielder, with a below-average throwing arm.

He played for the New York Yankees (1969, 1971–76) and Chicago White Sox(1978), and was the manager of the Bet Shemesh Blue Sox in the Israel Baseball League (2007). He was the first designated hitter in Major League Baseball history.
